Boots is an 11 yr old Quarter Pony gelding that is the epitome of a saint. A modern day babysitter that will only nurture and help your child’s love for the horse world grow and blossom.
Boots has been rode in the Texas panhandle on a ranch to gather and ship cattle. He has safely packed our 2, 6 and 8 yr old children through every play day and horse class we could possibly enter them in and he’s even been trail rode through the Palo Duro Canyons and at the Canadian River. He crosses water, logs, busy roadways and any other obstacles with ease and confidence.
There is no safer pony in America, we guarantee it. At the local play days it’s nothing for one of our kids to pop up around the corner 3 or 4 kids deep on Boots and he safely takes the best care of all of them no matter how much commotion there is. Boots has also been rode in our local parades and it’s always so fun to see the kids decorate him and ride down the streets!
Boots has also been instrumental in teaching our kiddos how to rope. We frequently pull the sled for them to track around and practice and he is always willing and patient while they do. Boots has had many calves drug on him by the bigger kids and he will track cattle around nice and let you doctor a sick one. Like all our big horses, Boots has spent some days at the feed yard and knows what it is to have to work for a living. He has a huge heart and always shows up for you. He is no stranger to sorting and shipping big pens of cattle and can get the job done as well as a big horse.

Cheyenne and Levi have always appreciated how much a GOOD pony can completely make a child’s confidence soar! Children get independent early and the best way in their opinion to let that independence thrive is to get them a pony, that is their size and let them figure it out and build their confidence. From a parents point of view it is so important to not only have a safe pony, but a pony that will teach your child how to be horseman. Each and every pony gives something to these children, a friend, a partner, confidence, knowledge, responsibility, lessons, love, trust, the list is endless!
