What’s cute, yellow, and lovable? MINION!
While the Minions in the movies may be known for mischief and mayhem, our Minion is rewriting the script. This guy is the definition of steady, sweet, and dependable. He’s a hard worker with a kind, unassuming nature and a soft spot for attention.
Truth is Minion was sold at this very sale last year to a wonderful woman who truly adored him. Sadly, due to unforeseen life changes, she had to step away from riding. When she called to let us know, we could hear the heartbreak in her voice—but there was never a doubt in our minds: we’d gladly welcome him back. We were grateful for the opportunity.
And as if we didn’t already know how special he was, his time with her only confirmed it.
While with her, Minion not only carried his owner safely and confidently—he also became a trusted partner at a therapeutic riding facility, working with children facing physical and mental challenges. His calm, honest nature and intuitive way with people of all abilities is nothing short of remarkable. He took care of everyone who sat in the saddle, and he did it with heart.
If you're looking for a stress-free ride, Minion has you covered. He stays focused and calm, even in chaotic environments. His classy way of moving, willing attitude, and undeniable charm make him hard to resist. Plus, with WIMPYS LITTLE STEP ($14 million sire) and TOPSAIL WHIZ (first $12 million sire) on his pedigree, it’s no surprise Minion is the total package.
Our kids absolutely adore him—they love how easy he is to ride, how gently he responds, how smooth his gaits are and how willingly he spins and changes leads. He’s built for comfort with a soft jog and rocking-chair lope that make all-day riding easy. His natural self-carriage and level topline makes everything feel effortless.
Minion knows how to get the job done too. He’s spent plenty of time on a working ranch—tagging calves, pushing bulls, doctoring, opening gates, and helping during branding. Loud cattle, darting calves, people everywhere—Minion just keeps marching on like the pro he is. If trail riding is your style, Minion is careful, sure-footed, and always game to go wherever you point him.
He has even showcased his versatility by winning an All-Around Buckle in the ranch horse classes! Ranch versatility is right up his alley—conformation, ranch pleasure, reining—he does it all willingly. With little to no warm-up, he confidently handles a full day in the show pen.
He’s an honest, happy partner, whether you ride once a week or once a month. Even after sitting idle, Minion comes back the same—no monkey business, just sit back and enjoy.
He’s up to date on everything and is a joy to keep around.
We pride ourselves on being honest and transparent in every horse we represent. If you have questions, we welcome them—we’re an open book. Minion is here because of life circumstances, not because he fell short. He’s proven himself again and again, and we’re proud to offer him here once more.
