2017 Quarter Horse Gelding

13.2 hh

Ready??? Set. GIGGLE!!! After you meet Rip Tide you'll understand! A true character and fun loving fella, he is sure to capture your heart!

From a mountain switchback trail to an egg & spoon class, this flashy steed can do it all. He is comfortable in the great outdoors and can handle any terrain. If you're looking for one who will hold up for a day's work, Rip Tide isn't about to break down. His solid frame, good bone and foot assure countless hours of good times. Use him on the ranch, at a show, or cruise around the yard, he won't complain!

He put the FUN in the Fun Show this summer for Teagan! Pony halter, pony pleasure, ranch riding, of course egg & spoon, all over the fairgrounds, you name it, she was smiling all day. Everyone fell in love with his pretty face and fancy looks too!

Take him through the rough country, through murky water, or deep mud, where all you need to do is point and shoot - Rip Tide takes care of the rest. After a trail ride, go enjoy an evening of tracking the roping dummy! He will follow along, rate easily and give you an honest shot, even if you don't get it after the first 10 attempts. He is also experienced in the branding pen, 12 year old Wyatt had no trouble roping on him or pulling through all the crowds.

From the time you greet him in the morning until you tuck him in at night, Rip Tide is always happy to see you and is grateful for all the attention you're willing to give him! Crack the bullwhip, tow the scooter, play ball, cross the tarp, invite the dog up for a ride and love on him, he just wants more. He loves play days, jumps right in the trailer, unloads with ease and settles in the moment he arrives.

Rip Tide is the perfect size to build confidence for the young and old alike. One of his best features is his ability to adapt to his rider! If a teenage daredevil climbs on, he knows how to keep them under control, if younger sister climbs on, he dials down immediately to assure safety. He makes things simple with his neck reining, nice transitions and he is ready to slow down anytime you ask.

Oh, he also looks adorable in english tack! He has been over some small fences and has the ability to carry on with it if you so desire! His trot stride is very fitting for the hunt seat saddle and his canter is as cadenced as can be. Or you can ride him double for double the fun, double the giggles!

Call Megan to visit about Rip Tide, and see if he's the right fit for you or someone you know! He's been up to date on all care and ready to meet you!

Hansen
Throughout the year, Megan & Tegan Hansen's horses are exposed to countless disciplines including team roping, trail riding, skijoring, branding, gathering and doctoring cattle, jumping, ranch work in Wyoming and Montana and ranch horse shows-of where daughter Teagan won her first buckle ? They want to be known for devoting time to each horse, being able to recognize their strengths and allow them their individuality. Keeping those ideals at the forefront of their training helps to ensure they can honestly represent each horse and pair them with the right person and situation. They truly value the relationships they build with new owners.
