Roy is hands down one of the favorite horses I've ever ridden! He is 100% trained in all aspects of the reining pen and he is EASY! He is so push button to ride, non-pro friendly, that you simply can't ride him wrong. Roy is a NRHA money earner and already making the switch to the ranch classes beautifully. Roy has spent the last couple of years teaching beginners & green riders how to show at reining shows. Roy is the type to teach you how a trained horse should feel. He's as finished as one comes, does not require a trainer to stay trained and can be maintained from home.

Roy does not need to be rode daily & will ride the same regardless if he's rode once a month, daily or weekly. Roy has a super smooth jog that extends beautifully, a great lead change, and he crosses all of the obstacles. He is as desensitized and care free as they get. He's easy going, forgiving, and friendly to be around.

Roy has been ridden out on the trails as well. He's very sure footed and will ride out by himself and go anywhere you ask him to. Traffic safe, farm machinery, dogs/cats, wildlife, tarps, flags, ropes, etc.; nothing phases him.

We can't say enough good things about this gelding. Loads, hauls, clips and bathes with no issues. I am Jessica Bunch, owner of Pleasant Valley Equine, originally from Virginia but working with horses brought me to Kentucky. I reside in Henderson county with my husband Jacob Littlepage and our young son, Sonny. I hold a BS degree with a focus on Western Equestrian Studies & a minor in business. From the University of Findlay located in Ohio. I have 15 plus valuable years of professional equine experience working under several well known NRHA & AQHA trainers. I enjoy showing and have earned several world titles in the ARHA association.

Jacob is from Kentucky where he was born into a cow-calf operation. He has been around horses his entire life, learning and gaining experience from an early age working along side family. Before working together at Pleasant Valley, Jacob trained thoroughbreds for 10 years at JDM Training Center. He also oversees an important part of the horses health as our farrier with 15+ years experience. Jacob and I work diligently with select horses so that we can be confident and proud to offer them. We focus on producing safe, honest and family oriented ranch horses. Our program has brought together many horses and clients to make idea partnerships that are rewarding for us as well as our client. Not only do I train horses, I have a passion for teaching lessons. I have established one of the largest youth riding programs in the state of Kentucky and the youth are consistently achieving success! When I’m not busy training & giving riding lessons, you can find me still enjoying horses with my family out on the trails.
