2021 AQHA Gelding

15 hh

Meet “Dubs” – a stunning AQHA gelding with a rock-solid foundation, a kind heart, and all the buttons. Started right, used outside, and ready for the trail, arena, or ranch. Sound, gentle, and easy to be around—he’s the total package.

This gorgeous dapple-gray gelding that is as gentle as one can ask. He was started in a reined cow horse/ranch versatility program that provided him with a great foundation. He is great to ride outside, and nothing seems to bother him.  Whether you want to take him roping or ride him on the trail he is easy.

Dubs is AQHA registered and 6 panel negative.  Good to shoe with no vices of any kind. He has a long flowing mane with a tail that drags the ground, and he will stand like a gentleman while you wash and braid it.  Rides in a bridle or hackamore, or really whatever you’re craving. He has a super sweet personality and wants to be in your pocket. He is 100% sound and will be a good one for many years to come.

Dubs is one you can take for a leisurely trail ride, then go do a reining pattern on. From smooth lead departures to sliding stops, he has it all! He has been used outside on a ranch from doctoring calves to working in the branding pen. When riding out on the trails you can be sure that Dubs will take care of you. He is sure footed, calm, and not fazed by obstacles.

This gelding has been started in roping events and has a great stop for breakaway. He has been started in team roping on the head side and breakaway. He is good in the box and never gets worried. He runs and rates to cattle smoothly and finishes the job with no problems.

Hi, my name is Braelyn Moltz, I grew up riding horses, competing in rodeo and working on the ranch. I attended college at Tarleton State University where I got my Masters in Ag Economics. I now work in construction along with training roping and performance horses with my fiancé AJ Fuchs in Johnson City, Texas. Horses are big part of our lives, we travel often to compete in rodeos and roping events. I've always loved the western way of life and have tried to learn as much as I can in every discipline. I like to the think I can learn something from every person I encounter, so I try to always listen with an open mind, and I think this helps me grow as a horse woman. I also believe every horse has something to teach us. We are starting to raise several of our own colts which has been both rewarding and an exercise in patience. I look forward to continuing my horse journey, raising and training young horses.
