2020 Draft-Cross Gelding

Horses like “One Ton” are hard to explain - probably because they don’t come around very often. No matter what I write, it won’t be enough. How do you put into words the way he makes you feel? How do you describe that kind of purity and kindness? Truth is, you just need to be around him. Then you’ll understand.
Unbelievably soft hearted, and kind, “One Ton” is the epitome of GENTLE! Whether you’re riding him, driving him or grooming him, he is a pure gem who is the perfect companion!
Hands down he is the SMOOTHEST draft cross we’ve ever had! He’s basically a big comfy couch! With a soft, steady jog, and rocking chair lope, he’s impossible to resist! With straightforward transitions, he steps right up into his lope, making it easy and fun!
From rough, cross country trails to city streets, county fair chaos to arena rides, One Ton is the chameleon who can fit right into any scene. He is sure footed, steady and FUN! Whether he’s under English or Western tack (or no tack at all) he looks phenomenal and performs just as perfectly! Riding him bareback is a blast, he’s a true caretaker and enjoys the rides just as much as you do!
To say this big boy is built to last is an understatement! His structure is as sound as it comes and his bone and foot are picture perfect. And who can ignore that BUTTERMILK BUCKSKIN color!?! He is so unique, his genuine inside matches his beautiful outside!
As a driving horse, he can’t be beat! We love taking him out for Sunday drives to town and you can bet he makes lots of new friends along the way! He loves stopping to meet everyone who wants to, “Pet the horse!” He is strong, fluid and smooth pulling the carriage and has a better cruise control than most vehicles.
If majesty was something you could touch, it’s right here with One Ton! He is the calm, the confidence, and the comfort you need in your life! We are so happy we had the chance to buy him from our friend, and as his second owner, you can rest assured he has not been passed around. We know his full history.
Whether your a first time horse owner or a seasoned pro, you can enjoy One Ton just the same! He is safe for any skill level! There hasn’t been a test we’ve put him through that he hasn’t passed with flying colors! He takes time off, he gets along well with other horses, he rides off by himself, he stands tied, he bathes, hauls and clips the very best.
