Mango – Palomino Gelding | Well-Trained, Versatile, and Ranch-Ready
Mango is sired by Shift N Gears a NRHA producing son of Gunnatrashya.
Mango has a strong foundation in reining and the kind of solid, consistent training that makes him a pleasure to ride. He’s responsive, smooth, and broke in all the right ways. Mango has well-developed spins, soft and guided circles with natural cadence, and a long, ground-covering extended trot. His jog is comfortable and easy to sit, and he guides around on a loose rein or collected frame, willingly moving off your seat and leg without resistance.
He’s been shown in Versatility Ranch classes and handles patterns, transitions, and trail obstacles with confidence. Mango is currently working on curbside mounting and continues to be receptive to new skills. His stop is solid, his leads are clean, and he rides with the kind of precision that comes from time and thoughtful training.
Mango has been used on the ranch and has plenty of outside miles. He’s worked in the feedlot, sorted and doctored cattle, and has been part of multiple brandings in the fall. He’s quiet in the herd, soft in the bridle, and stays gentle through long days. Mango has also been trail ridden through Palo Duro Canyon and along the Canadian River, crossing water, brush, and rugged terrain with ease. He’s confident around wildlife—deer, antelope, pheasants—and doesn’t get rattled. Mango is quiet on the ground, easy to handle, and has been safe for our younger riders. He’s the kind of gelding that fits a variety of riders and jobs—steady, capable, and always dependable.
