If you need confidence, Chantz is going to be the one for you. He is very forgiving of beginner mistakes, super patient and makes riders of any level or age look like pros!
Whether you are on the trails, out on the ranch or under harness, Chantz handles any situation with poise!!! Chantz knows some tricks as he will sidepass to a mounting block, lays down on command and also sets like a dog. In the arena Chantz lopes perfect circles in a beautiful slow collected lope, he is one hand broke and has a good stop.
He rides western, bareback and English as well. Under English tack Chantz has been over the rails and enjoys a having fun taking his rider over the jumps. Take him outside and that’s where he feels right at home as he has been ridden throughout the Ozark and Appalachian Mountains in some of the roughest terrain that they have to offer, while always being sure footed and picking the safest path that he can find. He handles deep water, ditches, creeks, boggy mud and deadfall with ease.
Chantz has been ridden through town, down busy roads with cars and trucks, steps, sidewalks... he handles it all! He has been through the bank and fastfood drive-thru as well. Head out on the ranch and check your cows, if you have a sick one Chantz will allow you to toss a loop on it and he will hold it while you doctor it. He knows all aspects of ranch work.
Chantz has been ridden double and triple but if your family is larger than that and everyone wants to go for a ride, just put the harness on him and enjoy a fun family carriage ride around the farm or down the road.
