Around the farm, Furlo has been used to check cows and ride fence lines, proving he is not only a dependable trail horse but a versatile partner as well. He is comfortable riding alone or with a group and is happy whether he's leading the pack, riding in the middle, or bringing up the rear. In the barn, he is a true gentleman. He is easy to catch, the first one to meet you at the gate, and is just as enjoyable on the ground as he is under saddle. He stands quietly for grooming, saddling, bathing, and in the wash bay.

He gets along well in the pasture whether turned out by himself or in a group. He is also well desensitized and confident around everyday obstacles, including tarps, jugs, and whips. The time invested in his training shows in the confidence and steady attitude he brings wherever he goes.
