Todd Bowman lives in Crossville, TN where he enjoys the challenges of raising, training and showing Futurity and Derby Reining horses. The need for better training tools led to the founding of Bowman Custom Spurs. Todd’s bits and spurs are influenced by the advice and knowledge of reining, cutting, pleasure, and rope horse trainers from across the United States. In the fall of 2010 Todd's work as a Bit and Spur Maker was juried into the prestigious International Guild of Bit and Spur Makers.

Back in the early 2000’s, Country Garden Shed was started as a small roadside stand where a local wholesale greenhouse sold some of their plants using the honor system. As a child I was, of course, fascinated with horses... as all young girls rightfully should be. Since then, I have ridden most disciplines, and on most all types of horses.
I have shown horses in English, Western and Carriage Driving Events.
In 2009, I qualified for the World Championships for the EXCA - Extreme Cowboy Race - with my good horse, Katie.

A few years ago, my local club asked what we wanted for year end awards. Easy answer “I want a buckle!”, but they said they couldn’t afford it.
So I started my business initially just so I could win that buckle. I understand small clubs and their budgets. It can be difficult to find really beautiful trophy buckles on some club budgets, so often times they just can’t afford quality silver and go to lower quality products.
Ensuring quality horsemen and women to care for YOU and your horse is of most importance. We strive to see that each horse is cared for as we would care for our own and nothing less.
