Rider, as he is called in the barn, is 97% Friesian / Baroque Pinto and is the only one in existence with this color and high percentage Friesian. There is not another one like him! He has everything you look for in a Friesian, all wrapped up in a beautiful chestnut and white package. Rider has been in full time training developing his arena work, driving, and exposure outside of the arena. He is a very easy horse to get along with whether on the ground, in the saddle or in harness. Rider goes both Western or English, showing a whole lot of potential and natural ability to go on with in the dressage arena. He is forward, correct, cadenced, bold, soft, and supple. He collects up beautifully, or really engages and moves out. He rides on a slack rein or full contact, in a bridle bit or a snaffle. He is great with your seat and legs, respectful and comfortable with your aids, and always willing and truly enjoys his work. He is a very uncomplicated and safe ride. And he is just as fancy in harness! Rider carries the flag, handles both arena obstacles and all outside trail obstacles with ease, crosses water, is very well broke to drive, jumps 2ft cross rails, pedestal trick training, and is great in traffic. This gelding is a joy to have around. He has wonderful ground manners and a very sweet and inquisitive personality. Always eager to greet you and take on whatever task you have in store for him. He stalls well or gets along great with others outside. Great for the vet and farrier. He ties, cross ties, bathes, clips, loads and hauls like a seasoned pro. He is wonderful in new environments.
