With a pedigree tracing back to legendary sires Hollywood Dun It and Tanquaray Gin, Hombré combines outstanding bloodlines with the kind of real-world experience that can’t be bred—it has to be earned.
On the ranch, Hombré has done the work that matters. He has pasture roped, doctored sick ones, caught cattle out of thick brush, worked in the feed yard, sorted pairs, and loaded trucks. Long days, tough terrain, and demanding jobs are all part of his everyday resume. He’s dependable, honest, and knows what a day’s work looks like. On the weekends he has been hauled to team sorting events and is very cowy.
When it’s time to leave the ranch, Hombré is just as impressive. He is a seasoned trail horse that has been ridden through the rugged terrain from the brush of Texas to the mountains of Montana, Hombré confidently navigates steep terrain while while enjoying every mile of the journey. Rough country, creek crossings, deadfall timber, and mountain trails are all second nature to him.
In the arena, Hombré is equally enjoyable. Some really good horses are one-hand broke, Hombré is one-finger broke! He is so soft in the bridle and so in tune with his rider, you just think it and Hombré does it! He responds willingly to leg pressure, lopes perfect circles, and has the soft, responsive handle that every rider appreciates. He’s also been ridden English and has been over the rails, showcasing the athleticism and versatility that make him stand out from the crowd.
