He knows his leads and carries himself with confidence while always maintaining his quiet, willing personality. He has been ridden Western, English, and bareback, taking every job in stride.
Royal has been on miles of trails through the woods, across open fields, over logs, through creeks, and has been used to check cows and ride fence lines. He has traveled state roads in traffic and quiet country roads without ever missing a beat.
Whether you are heading out alone or riding with friends, Royal is happy to lead, follow, or ride in the middle of the group. He has been ridden in both indoor and outdoor arenas and truly doesn't care where you ride—he simply enjoys being your partner. He is also good with tarps, jugs, whips, and other common obstacles, making him a dependable horse both on the trail and around the farm.
In the barn, Royal is a true gentleman. He is often the first to meet you at the gate and enjoys attention. He stands quietly for grooming, tacking, bathing, and in the wash bay. He gets along well turned out by himself or with other horses and is easy to handle in every situation.
